Model 10729 is a 5-24 VDC low cost g-force trip sensor. When a programmable g-force threshold is reached, a photo isolated output is pulled down(to common).
Acceleration is measured on two axis and the magnitude of the acceleration is compared to the programmable threshold. The XY axis sensing plane is perpendicular to the top side (terminal side) of the device.
The threshold and axis plane are both set using the Phenix Programmer Software, which is available online for FREE. The software sets the threshold and calibrates the sensing plane. The settings are then transferred from the computer to device using a USB remote programer, model 9245. The 10729 receives the settings from the remote through the infrared input. |
